Where Not to Go In Russia
They say there are many places which you are not advised to visit while on your travel to Russia.
Probably every big city dweller would tell you that it is not a good idea to visit say a club in Russian countryside on weekends.
The reason is simple, in Russia almost all public rest activities of youth on countryside are connected with excessive consumption of alcohol, which leads to uncontrollable violence rate in Russian countryside public places during weekends. It’s really a way to prove that you are a brave man, to visit the Russian countryside club.
More than that such drunk fighting activity in Russian clubs are not something young people try to avoid. Russian young men are fond of participating in this fights and most of all they like to fight against the strangers.
Here is just a sample photo of what how these crazy fuckin participants look afterwards.

Russian helicopter MI-24, but these are from the Polish army. Poland during Soviet era was buying a lot of weapons from Soviet Union.
In Russia pilots call it “The Crocodile” because some of it’s resemblence too the reptile according to their point of view.
So this Polish pilots decided to go further and drew reptile eyes on their helicopters, so now the crocodile analogy can be seen even more precisely.
Once again ya gota love them russian's...(or else)

Russian man tried to buy a U.S. B-52 bomber
A rich ass Russian tried to buy a U.S. B-52 bomber from a group of American pilots at an air show near Moscow, a Russian newspaper reported on Friday.
The unidentified Russian, wearing sunglasses and surrounded by bodyguards, approached the U.S. delegation and asked to buy the bomber, the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper said. Ya gotta love them Russian's when they see something they want they go after it.
An astounded member of the U.S. delegation said the bomber was not for sale but that it would cost at least $500 million if it were to be sold on the spot.
"That is no problem. It is such a cool machine," the Russian was quoted as saying by the newspaper, which said its reporter overheard the conversation. The bomber was not sold. Nah Really!!
Russia's new rich, who built fantastic fortunes trading commodities and contacts after the fall of the Soviet Union, have made a name for themselves buying every toy they can find..I'll take a porshe..~~ Mr.Borrat.

Deep Inside Siberia
A Look At Russian Phillosophy At It's Finest
How's this for some serious bullshit, look at this picture it is an illustration from Russian governmental social site http://deti.wwwerh.ru/ which deals with different family issues and all that smack. Now It looks ok at first - like a simple family, with fucking kids and such. But people noticed that it’s an exact copy from the poster of Nazi Germany. Look on the photo below - that’s a German propaganda poster which was used widely during WW2, appealing to Racial dominance of German White Race.
Aint that a bitch.

A Slow Tour Of Russia Training His Lens On The Locals He Met On The Way
ARTS FEATURES
Simon Roberts took a slow tour of Russia, training his lens on the locals he met on the way. His travel photographs are published in a new book.
Traveling in Russian winter is difficult at the best of times, but for British photographer Simon Roberts, who was compiling his book, “Motherland,” it was that extra bit challenging.
“No one is out in winter; it’s impossible to meet people, so taking portraits was really difficult, and getting my camera to do what I wanted it to do at minus 40 degrees Celsius, was close to impossible,” Wow this guy is amazing and his pictures shoe it.
Simon say's he became fascinated by Russia while studying Human Geography at the University of Sheffield. In 2004, he and his wife traveled for a year, covering a distance of over 75,000 kilometers, to capture the vastness of the country for the book of photographs, which came out earlier this year. Choosing the photographs to go into the book was another lengthy process: Roberts took over 5,000 frames, which he then had to narrow down to 150. “Coming from an anthropological background, it was critical that I had very different types of people in there,” Roberts said. “The rest will eventually be published and, hopefully, be used as a historical archive.”
One of the Simons methods for finding a wide range of subjects was arranging home-stays as he traveled. That had to be something he'll never forget. In Omsk, he says he stayed with a family whose daughter was taking part in a ballroom dancing competition. Roberts went along, and his picture of one of the couples appears in the book: The girl with bright blue eyeshadow and red lipstick stares regally, while her partner looks slightly afraid. Here's the book because my word's just can't say enough, great job and best of luck Simon on all future endeavors http://www.motherlandbook.com/

This Russian Monster Is It Real? Or Fake?
The Russian media has recently reported on a huge monster with the head of a serpent and the body of a crocodile lurking at the bottom of a lake near the village of Somin in Western Ukraine.
Mysterious water mammoths inhabit Siberian lakes
The lake is 56 meters deep. A number of underwater caves stretch its bottom. That is where the mysterious monster lies in wait,(Hey I just report it)that's according to locals. As a rule, locals steer clear of the lake because they are said to have been terrified by the hideous creature hiding underwater."UHHH Yea that would be a good enough reason for me" It reportedly attacked domestic animals in the past. Some 30 years ago a local groom fell prey to the monster, according to one of the stories circulating through the village. The groom got drunk and fell fast asleep in the grass near the shore. The monster reportedly crept out of the water and had the groom for lunch. Another creepy story features a disobedient boy who decided to take a swim in the lake. Needless to say, the boy has never come back home or so the story goes.
The news from Ukraine caused quite a stir in the Russian media. One of the Russian TV stations was even planning to make a film about a “new Nessie.” A naïve person might have expected hordes of zoologists heading for Ukraine from all over the world. However, nothing of the kind happened. Scientists are well-aware of the laws of genetics, which say that a population of large vertebrates must comprise a minimum of 300-500 species in order to survive. Would they have had enough room in Lake Somin, whose total area is about 6 hectares? Besides, they would have long eaten up all the fish in the lake. Plenty of fish still occur in the lake. Several cat fishes caught in the lake reportedly measured up to two meters in length. The legend of the lake monsters seems to stem from one of the local fish stories.
Several dozen similar lakes scattered around the former Soviet Union are claimed to have monsters, which scientists still have to identify. Some of the cases on record are made up of pure mystification and rumors; others may maintain some grains of truth.
